Marjorie D . Anderson
Marjorie D. Anderson, elected to Hartford Rotary December 1992 and a member of West Hartford Rotary 1988-1992 died October 11, 2004. Marjorie was Secretary of the Hartford Rotary Club for many years and worked with high school students in our Junior Rotarian program. Marjorie was instrumental in organizing the U.N. Model Nations Day for Hartford area students. She had an impressive career in and interest in world peace, and public and political service. She will be remembered in Hartford Rotary for her friendly but firm “no nonsense-just do it” approach; and for the quality, balanced and informative programs she developed as joint Rotary and World Affairs Council programs.
